José Vallejo-Jimenez

LAW CLERK

José Vallejo-Jimenez (he/him) is a part-time law clerk at Wardenski P.C. for the Fall 2024 semester. He was previously the firm’s summer associate for Summer 2024. José supports the firm’s civil rights litigation work.

José is a third-year law student at Northeastern University School of Law (NUSL). He is a graduate of Tufts University, where he studied International Relations, Economics, and English.

Before law school, José worked as a paralegal for the Legal Aid Society of D.C.’s Housing Unit, where he primarily worked on eviction defense advocacy and representation. In law school, José continued his direct-client work with Greater Boston Legal Services’s Immigration Unit, where he helped several clients file petitions for asylum. He continued this work as a clinical student at NUSL’s Immigrant Justice Clinic, working closely with clients to provide several forms of immigration related relief. José most recently completed a judicial internship at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, where he worked in Chief Justice Kimberly Budd’s chambers.

Originally from Mexico, José currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
