Lily Gutterman
ATTORNEY
Lily Gutterman (she/her) has been an attorney at Wardenski P.C. since 2024.
Lily recently completed a clerkship for Senior U.S. District Judge John Kronstadt in the Central District of California. Lily received her J.D., magna cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern Scholar, editor of the Review of Law and Social Change, and student advocate in the Immigrant Rights Clinic. During law school, Lily interned with the Legal Aid Society’s Special Litigation Unit in its Criminal Defense Practice, Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc., Oasis Legal Services, and the American Friends Service Committee’s Immigrant Rights Program.
Prior to law school, Lily worked as a Strategy Manager at the International Rescue Committee, where she helped shape its strategic plan to better serve refugees and asylum seekers worldwide, and as the Deputy Director of Policy for Mayor Jorge O. Elorza in Providence, Rhode Island, where her core focus was the design and implementation of mayoral initiatives to promote educational equity.
Lily received her AB from Brown University. She is admitted to the New York bar.
